The Fitzjames Hand-Carved Solid Mahogany Throne Chair

There was no choice whatsoever—once we laid eyes on this imposingly magnificent piece, we had to have it for our catalog! It requires over 3 weeks to carve in the very masculine tradition of English antiques. Its immense claw feet rise, flanked by winged creatures and regal sentinels, in high relief. The real leather, cushioned seat spans a full yard (room for two!), while the stately back stands almost 6 feet high, making it the most massive chair we've ever offered. There's no getting around it, this ornate, fit-for-a-king piece will be the crowning glory of any room!
