Red Deer II Framed Canvas Replica Painting: Small
By artist Franz Marc, (1880-1916), at the Alte Pinakothek, Munich, Germany
Item# DA3701

In Stock
In an almost Cubist portrayal of simplicity and emotion, two deer stretch across the artist's canvas, awash in the bright primaries that transcend their natural setting. Marc was one of the key figures of the German Expressionist movement and a founding member of Der Blaue Reiter, a journal of prestigious artists of the period. He was killed in the Battle of Verdun during World War I. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand exclusively for Design Toscano. Our replica 4.375"Wide, European style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image.
