Candice Pennington b.1960:
Candice Pennington likes to break the mold an irony that isn’t lost on her as a sculptor. A self-described free spirit Pennington lives on a small farm in Southern California with her dog Rufus and three horses. She describes the creative process for her Design Toscano exclusive statues and wall sculptures: “I like to photograph my inspiration then adjust the image in Photoshop and possibly re-pose or start the whole process over again. Once I’m happy with the digital file I then sculpt in clay adjusting here and there but mostly following the file I created.” The unique attention to detail is evident in artist Pennington’s classic nudes serene angels and beautiful fairies. -
