Here we see Monet's wife sitting for a portrait in the beautiful gardens at Argenteuil, a frequent location for the artist's work in 1873. His first born, Jean, sits behind his mother on the gravel path with his nurse. The hoop the nurse is holding in this picture seems to be the boy's favored toy during this period, as it appears in several of the paintings that contain his son during this year. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand exclusively for Design Toscano. With bas-relief organic styling, the multi-tiered, replica European style frame is cast in quality designer resin and highlighted with an aged gold-toned finish.
