Ladybug Enameled Egg
Over-the-top ornamentation characterizes this jeweler-style, museum-quality enameled egg first made famous by the House of Romanov's imperial jeweler in the 19th century. The Ladybug boasts an intricate filigree of lavender-hued pansies and a namesake "lucky bug." Cast in pewter using the ancient lost wax method and before the brilliant pink and blue enamel, faux jewels and tiny embellishments are added.
