Ladybug Enameled Egg
Over-the-top ornamentation characterizes this jeweler-style, museum-quality enameled egg first made famous by Carl Fabergé in the 17th century. The "Ladybug" boasts an intricate filigree of lavender-hued pansies and a namesake "lucky bug." Cast in metal alloy using the ancient "lost wax" method and before the brilliant enamel, faux jewels and tiny embellishments are added.
