Darwin's Ape Thinker Statue
By artist Francisco Ramo
Ramo's reflection on Rodin's "Thinker" and Darwin's theory of evolution ponders man's superior ability to ask "Where do we come from?" Academics, historians, and Europhiles all appreciate this timeless work of art long popular in Europe. Our Design Toscano monkey-like ape replica is directly cast in faux bronze and ivory-finished designer resin.

Artist Francisco Ramo, was born in 1926. I do not know where the original is, but you can buy copies in various sizes all over. He also wrote a satirical poem to the effect that man could not have descended from apes, because the behavior of man is so bad he could not have come from the apes.
