Windblown Sculpture
By Leon Pillet (1839-1916)
Classic art for your gallery or garden.
A bare shouldered maiden holds her gown against a gust of wind in this sculpture by Frenchman Pilet, winner of the prestigious Grand Prix de Rome and Medal of Honor. “Windblown” is exquisitely detailed from the drape of fabric to the arch of the woman’s delicate feet. Amidst a pond or in an entryway, our nearly three-foot-tall casting lends elegance in designer resin exclusively for Toscano.

great perfect for tree top display above flatstone patio for guest enjoyment at DaleWood Retreat, Trails & Slopes vacation rental June 15, 2014
Nice addition to my garden Nice status but it did have a sticky substance that was difficult to remove all over its head. April 27, 2014
Looks Great in my Garden! Although I believe the details could have been better with this sculpture, it still looks nice in my garden under my crepe myrtle! April 25, 2014
She is just beautiful This sculpture is even more stunning in person than the picture. I loved it so much when I received it that I ordered a second one for my sister in Texas. I live in OH and still have her in the house as I didn't not want it to get ugly over the harsh winter weather. Have not had this long enough to know about mainenance January 1, 2014
This product has great features I ordered this sculpture for a Christmas gift and I just don't know if it will meet the person's expectations or not, I love the statue itself but the coloring certainly does not meet my expections nor does it look like the picture in the catalog. We looked through the catalog together and the statue is absolutely gorgeous and what she has wanted for some time know but when the statue arrived unlike the picture in the catalog that looks white or has a definite white cast the statue I received has a definite gray coloration and it is a medium to darker toned gray even. The lady is beautiful but I just don't know about the coloring and to me it really doesn't look like the picture in the catalog. I have always been happy with anything I have gotten from Toscana and will order again and will still tell people about your products, but I would caution them aobut the larger statues and tell them that they should probably contact you all and ask questions before placing a large order, I know that this is what I will be doing from now on. I am not necessarily unhappy customer but not sure on this item that I am totally happy either. December 2, 2013
Very nice Actually, very nice is a little mild. This was a present and it went over super. We named her "Sophia" and she will likely stay indoors until spring. Then she will be at the entrance to our main garden standing on a short plinth. October 5, 2013
over all great purchase This was my first garden statue purchase. Wow it adds a lot to my flower bed! Looking out my kitchen window and seeing her gives me so much pleasure. I have sprayed her with a clear coat of paint spray I hope this keeps her from fading and chipping Love it August 11, 2013
This is a lovely addition to any garden I really love the look of this statue in my garden. She has now graced it for almost 4 years and still looks very nice. You do have to be sure to put away these pieces in the winter because they can not handle the freeze. My mom liked mine so much that after she tried to get me to give her mine and I wouldn't give it up I bought her one. August 9, 2013
