Cat-Astrophe Sculptural Birdhouse

French artist Frederic Levesque joins a long list of countrymen who'd choose finicky felines over feathered friends with his tongue-in-cheek sculptural birdhouse! Though it takes a brave bird to approach the piercing green eyes and deceptive "welcome mat" tongue of this humorously sculpted, quality designer resin sculpture, your "invitation" is easily mounted to tree, wall or fence for instant garden gaiety. Bird not included.

Definitely an eye catcher, not sure about the birds! As I already have 7 of the more mundane style bird(actually nesting) houses in our yard, I thought that this would add the appropriate whimsical touch which it certainly does. The mounting leaves a little to be desired especially on rough tree bark but after replacing the screws in the mounting plates, it is hanging on our sycamore tree. Another hint: I drilled a 5/16 inch hole in the center of the bottom for drainage. I was afraid that with the tongue design acting as a trough, the bottom could fill with rain water and cause any inhabitants some distress! Now I'm waiting for nesting season to see if there are any brave takers. August 10, 2015
Cat-Astrophe birdhouse I recently ordered the Cat-Astrophe sculptural birdhouse and I love it,it really adds a lot of character to my garden.Everytime I look at it or any guests I have over it always brings out a smile and when a bird actually uses it, it is hilarious. Design Toscano has a lot of wonderful garden items and items for inside your home that I look forward to purchasing in the future. December 20, 2013
Perfect Gift I was quite surprised how sturdy this was. It arrived in a few days & it was packaged very well. I bought this as a gift for a relative. It made for the perfect gift to the person that has everything. They were very Pleased! June 28, 2013

This is an adorable idea! I am always feeding the birds/ducks that come in my yard. I have 5 dogs so they might attack this feeder! April 20, 2010
