Vitruvian Man Bonded Marble Statue
After a 1492 drawing by Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519), Galleria dell’Accademia, Venice
Based on a model of ideal proportions of the human body, da Vinci’s classic has been cast three-dimensionally in museum-quality natural bonded marble to command admiration in home or gallery. Bringing together ideas about art, architecture, human anatomy and symmetry in one distinct and authoritative image, the artist’s work stands as a testament to the power of visual interpretation.
