Huge seam down back and belly. Eyes crooked. Expected better quality after reading other reviews.

I bought this to put outside in my garden. After a few weeks I like the way it is losing it's "brand new" look and is getting mellow without losing its structural integrity. A hint: place the paws on stone or other material if you want to avoid minor rust stains--I use some piece of broken slate and they look great as well as raising the griffin enough to prevent contact with deck material.

The griffin is much better than the brick that formerly was the gate stop. It is navy and attractive. Wish you made a frog stop.

although this is a "doorstop" it's beautiful in design and finish. It can easily take center stage anywhere it's placed!! very heavy as well.

This product was just as described. It's a good size & works excellent. It is a really nice design, very well made, & looks great (just like the photo). It's heavy but not so heavy you can't pick it up. Very durable. It does the job! Would highly recommend!

I love this item. It is very heavy, with a beautiful design. It is solidly built, and large. It makes an impressive statement.

I received this iron doorstop as a gift some time ago. It is one of my favorite pieces. Solid construction that goes with almost any decor and suits almost any aesthetic, whether Medieval, Victorian, or Eclectic. It has all the beauty of a tabletop sculpture with all the utility and durability one would expect out of an iron doorstop. I've even used it as a centerpiece on occasion! It is just that lovely a work of art. For an iron piece, its details are finely wrought.
and while I was worried about the balance of the piece -- what, with its outstretched paw and all -- I never had any problems in regard to it falling over, or breaking, or damaging anything. It doesn't have any felt pads on its feet, if you're concerned about sparing your hardwood floors, but those can easily be added without issue.
I would absolutely recommend this item to other customers.
