The Crimson Rambler, 1908: Canvas Replica Painting

by Philip Leslie Hale (1865-1931), in a Private Collection
A mysteriously mesmerizing beauty in white merges into the wash of color that blooms with the artist's gloriously hued Crimson Rambler. One of the Tarbellites, Boston figure painters sought by affluent collectors at the turn of the 20th century, American artist Hale was influenced by Neo-Impressionism. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand exclusively for Design Toscano. Our replica European style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great color This delightful summer painting adds a lot of interest and a pop of color to any wall. The bright red bow and blooming roses really catch the eye. The artist captured a feel of a more relaxed time. Of all the paintings I own, this is my persnal favorite. The stretched canvas with "brush strokes" gives it the look of a real original far better than most lithographs. My frame was different from the one pictured, but I like mine better. I believe evryone would be happy with this art piece. September 18, 2016
