Passage of Life Sculpture
By artist Owen T. Tipton. A Celtic reminder of man’s spiritual nature and physical mortality.
Combining the artistry of interwoven Celtic knots and crosses atop a human skull sculpture, artist Tipton adeptly translates the ancient symbology of the passage of life in this Toscano exclusive. This work of Celtic art, created in quality designer resin and highlighted in faux gold and ebony, is a uniquely poignant work from a people whose history reflects the fine line between the worlds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Keltic Art The black resin skull with gold enhanced, raised Celtic symbols and artwork is beautiful. The skull is bigger than I imagined and has some heft to it. My only complaint is: in 2 areas at the front of the skull (one eye socket & chin) the gold paint does not completely cover the raised symbols. That being said, it wasn't enough for my husband to want me to return it. I do recommend this as a good purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pricey for the quality I like the design and I am satisfied. However after I received it and felt how very light the material is, I feel it is overpriced especially after you add the shipping,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Artistic and Spiritual This piece is not only an excellent gift for an artist studying anatomy (as it's proportions are almost textbook), but a gift for the spiritualist as well. The top-read most surface is inscribed with a celtic cross, while other available surfaces are decorated with celtic knot-work and patterns. It is a subtle piece and due to its color doesn't (not white or bleached bone) doesn't snap out at a person on a shelf. Rather it rests innocuously and when the viewer is ready, their eye recognizes it and takes in its complex lines and shapes, as well as the layered meaning of the iconography written on a skull. A gorgeous piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful I thought it was even nicer than in the photo. Almost life-size (just under it seems); only wish it was a tiny bit bigger. Overall though I love it, feel it is a good price, and it will be great for Halloween!!
