Memorial pot I lost my baby last May and after wanting my own children and suddenly being pregnant at the age of 43, I was beyond thrilled. Towards the end of my first trimester (and four days before the appointment to hear our baby's heart beat for the very first time on my 44th birthday) I lost our baby. We felt that because the baby was so tiny (only an inch wide and 2 inches long) we wanted to bury it somewhere we would always have access to. We had a beautiful and VERY large clay pot that we filled with organic dirt and buried our child on Memorial Day (the day after we lost the baby) and then took it to a local plant nursery where they created a gorgeous planter. I found this cherub angel in your catalog and ordered it to fit in the center of that same planter. It has been a source of comfort to look at that sweet angelic face cradled in hands and angel wings. It makes me cry still. A wonderful tribute to the child we loved so much, wanted for so long, and tragically lost so soon. August 11, 2013
Adorable forest baby fairy I just love this little baby fairy. I placed him/her near a hydrangea bush. The baby is not completely covered but peeks out from under the branches. I have let him/her outside all year & it has held up very well in all kinds of weather. I was actually surprised at the size (thought it would be a lot smaller). And the price was great. I haven't seen anything like this in any garden supply stores or nurseries. This was a wonderful purchase. March 7, 2012
When I was a student studying medicine in England, I studied the poor victorian survival rates of children. Sorry to say, I came across many versions of this statue from our studies. I purchased one and cherish it for the memories. Thanks so much bringing it back to life for me. May 31, 2011
