The Lord Raffles Lion Table
Hand-carved mahogany signature piece is an investment in European style
It’s nothing short of amazing! The four deeply carved lions’ heads with bared teeth, the ornate heraldic eagles and the exquisite scroll-worked drawers on this Toscano exclusive medieval table took more than five weeks to create. Named after Lord Thomas Samford Raffles, who founded the British colony of Singapore, over seven feet long, this solid mahogany piece with carved stretcher bar and quality wood veneer top makes an amazing statement as an impressively oversized desk, conference table or even as a six-person dining table. The matching Lord Raffles Throne (AF1038) features a deeply cushioned back and seat that are hand-upholstered in a heraldic tapestry of gold, navy, and burgundy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An unlooked for surprise ...... I bought this to furnish a house that I am doing that is of a manor house style. Heavy carved woods, and beautiful textures...... found the perfect items in Toscano's collections of wood tables and chairs. Perfect ... the piece is beautiful, along with the others purchased. Delivery was great, well worth the wait and I am so pleased to have purchased them. Now, the surprise ....... I decided to do a very dramatic and haunted style house for Halloween ..... what was more perfect than the pieces I had acquired from Toscano. Suits of armor became draped with cobwebs, my beautiful furniture became the setting for an eerie dinner party. All in all I couldn't be more pleased with this company and their products and highly recommend them to all who are interested in quality merchandise.
