L'Aviation Quality Lost Wax Bronze Statue
by Emile Louis Picault (1833-1915)
This allegory of flight carries the French motto "we have the wings to fly over mountain and valley." A muscular semi-nude classical angel stands atop symbols of aviation including propeller, wings and pistons, foreshadowing the future in this bronze statue. Sculptor Picault worked tirelessly producing approximately one thousand exciting bronze sculptures. This substantial, Design Toscano high quality lost wax bronze sculpture is hand-rubbed to a multi-toned patina and set atop a solid black marble base. Inscribed by the artist. A timeless Bronze sculpture, this is classic art at its finest.

Overall product is excellent! I have always admired and have great admiration for Classical Art, Sculptures, Tapestries, Paintings, Lamps, Religious Icons and Statuary ~ Design Toscano, has given me a way and means of affording Classical Art in my home. I am so excited and pleased with the bronze statue, “L’Aviation”! It makes a great display and does not look like an inexpensive mock replica of “L’Aviation” Bronze. I am a happy costumer!
