Palace du Trocadero Statues Set
(c. 1920’s), Artist Unknown
Though the creator of these stylistic sculptures is unknown, they are replicas of authentic Art Deco nudes from the 1920s. With the characteristically clean lines, graceful poses and geometric shapes that accent movement and line, these designer resin works set atop gold bases are stunning dècor pieces.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lovely design, average craftsmanship The kneeling statue was sent first and is off-colored from the shown ivory. It is darker, more yellow - another reviewer mentioned 'nicotine yellow' and I feel that is accurate. The second statue, the sitting maiden, is the shown ivory color. The pair are satisfactory in all, but I recommend placing them on a higher shelf to be viewed from a slight distance. If viewed up close, one can see the color difference much more easily and where splotches of reddish-gold were added to antique the look. Also, they do work well with the Nature Statue by Mucha.
