"Dancing Shiva" Goddess of Cosmic Energy: Desktop

Developed in southern India by 9th and 10th century Chola artists, our hand-painted dynamic sculpture of a four-armed dancer depicts the Hindu deity Shiva Natraj, whose image symbolizes the ebb and flow of life and whose all-encompassing circle represents cosmic energy. Our Grand-scale colossal version is hand-finished in real gold leaf and faux ebony. It stands nearly four feet tall and makes an impressive focal piece in home or meditation room. Our scaled, desktop version is an energetic representation of a dancing figure of Shiva, it is masterfully sculpted and hand-painted and would make a stunning centerpiece in any home gallery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by The product exceeded my expectations. The only similar statues I had seen were either beautiful and very expensive bronze or very cheaply made iron or white metal versions which lacked any detail but which still cost nearly twice as much as Toscano's. I was somewhat nervous about ordering a piece done in resin and, since the colors appeared to be very bright in the photographs, I was already thinking of ways to patinate the piece to look a little less garish. I was pleasantly surprised to open the box to find a beautifully detailed piece in both resin and metal with subdued metallic colors. It has the qualities of a museum reproduction of a historic piece and I am extremely pleased with it. October 10, 2014
