Phineas the Flapping Macaw Bird Wall Sculpture
Perfect Addition to My Collection
I have purchased a number of tropical birds from Design Toscano, and I love them all. The majority of the ones I have are either sitting on perches or mounted on the wall in the "sitting" position. What I liked about Phineas was his pose with his wings spread out as if he was either intending to land or to fly away. Although not full of color, his blue-and-yellow coloring is vibrant. The contrasting black beak and eyes make him sparkle. Phineas is not "huge," which is probably a good thing considering his pose would make him exceptionally wide and more difficult to place. His feet are very detailed, and if you're creative, you may be able to hang something from his feet -- like I did in my photo. Phineas is a wonderful addition to my collection of tropical sculptures.

The quality of the piece is very good, but sadly the piece is very, very small. As it is very small, it was difficult to find a place to hang the macaw, as its small size did not give us a lot of options of where to hang it, as it is very out of proportion. The measurements are supplied, but still disappointing.

This is a very nice bird. I just was expecting it to be a little bit bigger. But it is nice and goes well with the other birds I have bought to help turn my backyard into my tropical paradise.

Beautiful and very lifelike. The size is the only thing that is lacking for an actual lifelike creation. It was smaller then expected. Packaging was excellent with a form fitting styrofoam box molded to fit around the parrot. Am overall very pleased with my purchase.

This Bird looks so really. When we put it on the wall it actually looked as if it was flying down to land. It goes very well with the other pieces we have in our home.

It's even more beautiful "in person".
Absolutely love it. I've got to order another one.

How did you pick out the name Phineas? My daughter is naming all her pets this! Great statue, I will be a customer for life.
