Caesar Augustus of Prima Porta Grand-Scale Sculputral Bust
1st Century, Braccio Nuovo, Vatican Museum, Rome
Our grand-scale bust is sculpted in painstaking detail from the museum original, which was discovered on April 20, 1863 in the villa of Liva at Prima Porta, near Rome. As the commander-in-chief of the Roman army, Caesar Augustus is shown proclaiming triumph to his troops. From his distinctively handsome features to the detailed, bas-relief breastplate armor, this gallery statue has fascinated generations. An investment in classic European sculpture, our impressive life-sized sculptural bust is cast in quality designer resin with a faux stone finish as a sophisticated statement piece for your garden or home.

I had a small business here in Billings order me the bust of Caesar Augustus and iam very impressed with the resultsThis sculpture is life size and has good detail. I feel the cost is reasonable for what one gets in this very large Bust. I was so impressed that i have now coming the Julius Caesar bust. This week i am also going to order the Cleopatra Bust and King Tut Bust. These Busts look incredibily wonderful. I am very anxious to receive these items. April 11, 2011
