The Loire Water Nymph
Inspired by Jean Goujon's Fountaine des Innocents, Paris
Our beautiful nymph named for one of France’s major waterways, hails from the exquisite Renaissance fountain in Paris' Square des Innocents. Sheltered within the stately architectural frame of a Roman arch wall niche, it beckons with graceful gesture counterbalanced by the water urn she carries. We’ve replicated this classic niche sculpture in designer resin to capture the intricate details, then finished it in faux stone as a perfect accompaniment to your formal space or luxury bath.
Each approx. 5½"Wx3"Dx16½"H. 3 lbs.
The Loire Water Nymph is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful home accent I love my water nymph, this was my first purchase from toscano so I decided to only get one of them to wait and see if I really liked it as much in person as I did from the picture online. I absolutely love her. I put her in my bathroom and I get tons of compliments on her. The texture of the sculpture truly looks like stone and marble. My only complaint is that there is a small pencil sized whole in her chin but she is looking down so this isn't noticeable. If it were anywhere else I would have liked it because it gives it an authentic look as if it's really old and marble. So that is why I gave it 4 of 5 stars under the overall quality. I'm going to be buying more of them for sure it's an amazing piece of art she's beautiful!

Rated out of 5 by from I ordered the set of all 4 Water Nymphs for above the mater bath jacuzzi. They are not the sepia tone but a sage sort of green and a deep brown where the picture shows a darker color. The Numphs are a light stone beige painted finish. The sage green works really well for me but, you should know it is rather dominate in the scheme. I would buy them again -- they look very nice over the jacuzzi giving a formal look which was what I was after!
