Traditional Dragonfly Occasional Table
Hand-carved solid hardwood antique replica
Fraught with French Art Nouveau style, this quality, solid hardwood occasional table was originally designed in 1900 by noted furniture designer Emile Gallé. Our replica features oversized dragonflies, requiring a full week to hand-carve, that rise to create stylized legs and support a trefoil shelf. They’re crowned with a tabletop inlaid with faux marquetry that forms yet another dragonfly! This stunning work of furniture art is a true investment in European style.

Very Nice table replica I have several photos of the original tables made in the early 20th century . This is a very good representation of the originals. Not exact ... but very similar . The only aspect of this table that is remotely questionable it the top . The original was a parquetry top with several different pieces of wood veneer depicting a dragonfly. THis process is labor intensive . I know because I build guitars. I must assume that the top has a large decal ... not the sectional inlays of wood. January 20, 2015
Beautiful! This table is a high quality reproduction- well worth the asking price! April 24, 2013
This table is beautiful. We receive compliments from people who visit. Two out-of-state friends even purchased the table for their homes. The only thing different than expected is the dragonfly on the table top isn't as pronounced visibly as it appears in the catalog. We felt the price was a bit high but we love it and are very glad to have purchased it. January 15, 2013
Dragonfly table is high quality, a bit larger than expected and perfectly detailed. A+ This dragonfly table exceeded my expectations in it's superbly crafted and inlaid features. The item could easily sell for much more and would make a fine gift, it arrives in a short time without so much as a nick to the smoothly finished surface. Beautiful, well crafted, and a visual delight to behold! December 9, 2011
