Our incredible garden focal point will leave your guests in awe! St. Francis rises over three feet high on his generous, four-foot-long log perch. This Italian patron saint of nature reaches toward the gentle lamb at his feet, showcasing amazing detail from the folds of his garment to his benevolent expression. Rated 5 out of 5 by I am thrilled with this statue! I ordered this for my pond re-do. It was packed very well. The little birds were numbered with stickers, and his body had matching stickers, one screw only on the whole statue!!! His body fits onto the bench with a post. Easiest design ever!!!! Check out the picture and judge for yourself!!! This is a pond for my 3 rescued geese, PERFECT for it!!! May 1, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by Beautiful garden statuary In the backyard of our home in Texas, we have a free form swimming pool. In back of the swimming pool there is a small plot of property with three Palm Trees with space that was lacking something beautiful. We now have St. Francis sitting under the Palm Trees overlooking the pool and backyard. Absolutely beautiful and captivating to the beholder. April 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful in our woods We bought this statue for a terraced, wooded area on our property where we have a trail, stone walls, and a stone bench. The size was just right (about ¾-life-size), but it seemed too shiny-white, like a cast-concrete statue. So I spent $30 more on 2 cans of Valspar "Ancient Ruins" Stone Spray Paint and 1 can of Clear Sealer at Lowes. The statue now looks like pebbled limestone--much more "natural" than the original smooth white. It should darken even more with age. One piece of advice: when the box arrives, open it, take out the pieces, and carry them individually to where you're going to assemble them. Don't try to move the whole box--it's too big and heavy for one person. July 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by "This Statue is Just Beautiful!" My Parents really admired this statue on the Design Toscano website, and recently purchased a new home. We purchased this St. Francis statue as a house warming gift for them and they were so happy. The statue arrived delivered by freight, was carefully and professionally packaged, and, we were informed that the delivery driver was most helpful and courteous. The statue was easily assembled and displayed by my parents, and seeing how happy they were to receive this, made it all worth while. We would definitely purchase another item from Design Toscano, the quality, the design and professionalism speaks volumes. Stacy Shillan May 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Dream Come True I had admired this statue for so long, but such a beautiful and expensive statue needs the "perfect" place to be showcased, and for quite some time, I did not have "that" place. Then my husband and I cleared out the "circle" in our circular driveway, and lo and behold, at last, the perfect place to display the St. Francis I'd wanted for so long. We decided to make a "grotto" within which to house our statue. Obviously, it is an expensive purchase, so we want to protect our investment as best we can. After a month's efforts, our statue is now on display, and it is breathtaking and an honor to have St. Francis' likeness gracing our front yard. I did add a few "extra" little cement critters that hold special meaning to us, but they in no way detract from the beauty of the original statue. We hope that we are blessed with many years within which to enjoy our beautiful St. Francis. May 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pricey But Very Nice Product arrived via common carrier on time and well packaged wihtout any damage. Everything does come in one box and that box is HUGE. It is a two person lift because of its size. A single person could move it via a 2 wheeled dolly, but I would be sure that you have the box secured to prevent any risk of tipping and possible damage. Removal from the packaging was easy. Minor assembly was necessary but very easy requiring only one screwdriver. All other items that required assembly were simple "insert post into hole" tasks. All parts are designed to go into place in only one manner, so none of the smaller animals will spin on their mounting. Since the item does arrive in pieces it is easy to move around. No single piece is over weight. Placing the item is not difficult. By that I mean once assembled it is suitable for any reasonably flat surface. The log itself may roll until St. Francis is installed. Once installed the added weight and his feet help to keep the entire statue stable. I would urge caution if high winds are expected, especially if the surface is not perfectly even. You may wish to disassemble during high winds (Thinking 40 MPH or higher). Do be aware that the statue should be protected during below freezing temperatures. Sheltered storage is preferred but it can be covered. Instructions for winter storage are included with the statue. The detail of the sculpture is very good. As others have pointed out is it quite white in color, but I expect that it will age towards a gray tint as it ages. While St. Francis is not quite "full size" as most of us might expect "full size" to be, the difference is acceptable. Gave the item 4 stars for the price simply because it is hard to determine what a "reasonable" price should be for an item of this size and above average detail. May 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Eye catching I have already gotten tons of compliments. It is the center piece of my yard. The lamb was broken in shipping, but the company quickly replaced it. The new one had an misshaped hand making it impossible to attach, but I made it work. In spite of the flaws this is a charming piece of artwork. April 8, 2014
