Carved Rosette Architectural Wall Sculpture
Very Nice Piece
These Balinese-looking carved pieces are so intricate and beautiful and are really expensive ($300 is about what I've seen). So when I saw this one for $115 I jumped on it. I knew it was a replica, not genuine wood, but it looks so much like rich authentic wood that I bought it anyway. We wanted it for on our lanai wall. The piece, when it arrives, is a VERY light material--not exactly sure what--and so is not hard to hang. We actually used Command Velcro strips. When we decided instead to display it on the fence outside the pool area, I was a bit concerned of how it would weather. But whatever it is made of, it seems durable and pretty indestructible--neither the sun or rain has bothered it, where real wood would certainly weather. So, all in all, for whatever material it's made of I think it's a little pricey, but then the material is also a plus in that it's light and durable.
