Ancient Persian Winged Lion Rhyton Vessel Urn

(c. 500 BC),Tehran Museum, Iran
We found the original so exquisite that we took the hand-held drinking vessel or "rhyton" once found on the table of 5th-century Achaemanian kings and upsized it into this dramatic urn. The commanding lion, a royal motif from the early Mesopotamian era, is embellished with the powerful wings so revered in ancient Persian culture. Our Design Toscano antique replica is cast in quality designer resin and finished in faux gold with silver accents to become a singularly stunning focal point as art alone or with a grand floral display. Another quality antique replica statue from Toscano.
