SoSo It is lighter than I thought it would be. Because of that , it's not worth the price I paid. It looks a heck a lot better in the pool. It float for 3 days and sinks. I take it out to slowly let drain and repeat the cycle. July 31, 2014
Unique and realistic! I am putting this guy by my pool side. I have fine, white sand all around my pool with some pelicans and now this turtle. He completes my sea theme. Realistic looking and very pleased with the quality. Can't wait for summer! April 28, 2014
Not as pictured in catalog I was very disapointed with this purchase. The turtle did not look anything like the picture in the catalog. It looked like something I could of picked up in any seasonal outdoor supply store. Certainly not worth the price I paid and the shipping cost. April 22, 2014
Jist not up to Design Toscano's Was excited to receive out turtle which came considerably later that expected. Most everything we have purchased met or exceeded our expectations. This lacks the pop, color etc.. that we expected to see. Sorry for the bad review but seems to lack the realism we would have expected. April 18, 2014
a keeper! All in all this is a very realistic sea turtle, and I would think twice if I spotted one of these on the beach. The size is good, and texture is well done. The price is reasonable for this kind of item. A couple simple improvements could be made to make a big difference though.... especially the eyes, which are just plain painted semi circles. They look ok from a distance, but clearly close up not so good. I've seen plastic toy turtles with more realistic ones. For some reason the bottoms of these turtles are rather messy, look like they have bird droppings on them... I guess runoff from the paint sprayer don't know. But this is not noticeable at all unless they are turned over. still, recommended I finally just put in some letters for my 'nickname', the stupid application wont accept anything I put in. Oh well.
