andquot;Delightful Dancing Ducksandquot; Welcome Sign
Tiny is what it is
The product is well-made, a hilarious trio of ducks, but the real thing is really small. I would say tiny for a welcome sign, maybe suitable for a gnome garden, but not really for a home.

Cute ducks to welcome your guest
These ducks are so very cute and will make a great gift for my relatives who have an anniversary coming up and a bare front porch. What a great way to welcome you home and will definitely make your guests smile as they approach your home. They seem to be saying; "We are glad you stopped by."

These dancing ducks are as adorable as they looked in the catalogue. I have gotten numerous compliments on them. They have been welcoming friends to my garden for 2 years now and still look as good as when I first put them out. An occasional rinse with the hose is all that is needed to keep them clean.

A Terrific Trio
A fun and humorous trio that always gets positive comments from passersby. A clever way to welcome people to your yard. They made a very good gift for my mother who likes yard decorations.

Smaller than expected, but like it better!
So, I have been eyeing this for a long time and finally bought it, but given the shipping costs (even though much more reasonable through Toscano than through other sources), I kind of thought I had paid too high a price and that I would not like the real thing as much as the price tag would require. So, my solution to that was to leave it in the box for two weeks by my door, afraid to open it. Evolved? Mature? Obviously. I'm clearly on the road to enlightenment!
So I opened it up finally, and it was sooo much more petite than I expected. I know, a lot of reviewers have said that, so you'd think I would have understood that already. But I had measured and pictured based on the specs, and I had ducks of about twice the size of what these ducks are, in my head. Their being smaller was great news, though, since I had also seen that the corner where I was going to put them was smaller than I had expected.
So in short, I LOVE them. I do not celebrate holidays but I do like decorating creatures for no reason, and this gives me an opportunity to add a yamulke, an elf hat, a cupid's arrow, or any other little clothing dressing that a tiny duck could ask for. They are naked out there all alone, after all. I can't wait for all those other holidays people have. I may put my Om necklace on one when Holi comes around in February. That will be awesome.

Although this item was a bit smaller than I anticipated, I think they are just delightful. I have them on my front stoop to welcome all visitors!
