Rated 5 out of 5 by RobJ Very accurate reproduction
This is a very faithful and accurate reproduction of the original life mask done by Clark Mills on February 11, 1865, which is now on display at the Smithsonian Institution. If you notice the date, you will realize that Mills did this casting the day before Lincoln's last birthday (Feb 12, 1865). The reason that this mask shows closed eyes instead of eyes that were covered #see Leonard's Volk mask of March 1860) is that Mills used a faster drying plaster, therefore it had to be on Lincoln's face for a shorter period of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LindaP Beautiful detail
My daughter is an extreme Lincoln fan so I bought this for her for Christmas. It looks amazing on the wall and is the first thing everyone notices when they walk into the room.

Rated 0 out of 5 by John I purchased this for my 5th graders and they were so excited to see Mr. Lincoln in the flesh, so to say. I also purchased the Volk version you sell and you can really see how the weight of the world was shown on Mr. Lincolns face.
