16th-Century Italian Armor Sculpture with Halberd
I bought this as a gift for my husband and was originally worried about the stabilizing post shown in the back of the picture, and that the mesh would look silly. It arrived in two huge boxes and was incredibly simple to put together, done in 2 minutes. It did not have that post in the back--it balances on the two feet of the knight. Another reviewer had said it looked better in person and I must agree, it is fantastic. It really is better in real life than what the picture shows. The size is impressive, the coloring of the metals is lovely, and strong enough that I am not afraid that my kids will accidentally bump into it and damage it. If you are looking to add a knight to your home decor, buy this one!

Looks better in person
Bought this on Cyber Monday. Probably wouldn't have bought it if it weren't for the 20% off. This was the most money I have blown in a long time. Did I need this product? Absolutely not. But guess what, I absolutely love it. I have it perched on a ledge in the front room with cathedral ceilings. Symbolically, he is the protector of my house standing guard to all evil bent on entering. The Protector comes in basically two pieces: top, and bottom. The base is connected to the feet which goes up to about the waistline. The top half sits onto the bottom portion and overlaps it a few inches. The Halberd comes in two pieces with the seam covered inside the hand holding it. But the best part of it is that it looks better in person than on the internet or in pictures. Living in California, I wish it came with some type of strap or harness to be bolted so it doesn't topple over during an earthquake. I believe I will enjoy the Protector for years to come.

Other than the chains on the torso part, which doesn't look too real, the piece is gorgeous......extremely happy we bought it..
