Le Monde Palace Console
The piece is absolutely GORGEOUS. I have a vase that was a commissioned by an artist and then the person who put through the order died. This vase is a one of a kind piece. It is flamboyantly done in solid brass and bronze. It was sand cast and polished profusely and stands just over two feet tall and weighs 62lbs. I picked this gracious table to do justice to the vase...I succeeded! Thank you!

I fell in love with this when I saw it and HAD to have it! I bought it with intention to put it in my foyer entrance, but as it turned out, the height was just a little too high for the foyer and it didn't look right (and I have a pretty big foyer, too, so I'm not sure if it was truly just a height issue or if it was something else). Instead, I put it in my office behind my desk, and I'm very happy with it there. Since I just moved I hadn't purchased a credenza yet, and now I'm thinking I don't need to since it seems to fit perfectly there. As one other reviewer mentioned, you have to put the legs on (which in theory is no big deal), however 2 of the legs (which are built together as one piece) didn't fully attach because the screws were inserted backwards by the manufacturer. Customer Service worked with me on that though, so all ended well, although I did knock off a bar for "Overall product quality" in my rating because of it. Other than that one flaw, the wood is solid, the carvings are nicely detailed, and the color is rich. Beautiful piece all the way around, and I'm very pleased with this table!

Solid and elegant
I am very demanding individual. I now own two of the mahogany cocktail tables and two other mahogany tables including this one. The entire line matches well, is solidly constructed and was exactly what I hade hoped for. The carved details and other attributes exude class and heirloom status. You get much more than the price would suggest.

I am pleased with this very grand and beautiful piece of furniture. It is solid and heavy. One minor flaw...you have to attach the legs and two didn't line up perfectly. Table is level - it is more of an aesthetic thing in the front.
