Cristo Sculpture
Artist Unknown. From the Curator's Collection: Direct casts of museum originals.
Unique in its composition, this spectacular direct casting of an 18th-century museum original shows the figure of Christ actually “becoming” the cross. At over two-feet tall, this substantially sized work of art, cast in designer resin and finished in faux terra-cotta exclusively for Toscano, demands attention for its disciplined, sculptural detail.
13"Wx4"Dx25"H. 3 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Traditional and very Medieval in my opinion It is large. I am pondering to hang it as is or attached it to a wooden cross. It is not fragile. They boosted the material behind the arms and legs to make it sturdy. But you can not tell by just looking at it straight on. To be honest if I went through a Catholics site, the price would be $800 to a $1,000 ( I should not say that outloud huh?) There is a place in the back of the figure to hang it just as is I have been looking high and low for something of this quality November 28, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Second statue I've ordered is not the same as the first. This second statue is not the same as the first one I ordered. I ordered this as a gift for someone. There is no detail on this one like there was on mine. Mine had very clear features and details, this one was only a pale flesh color. Don't know if i will be returning it.
