Nymph of the Morning Woods, 1915: Bonded Marble Resin Statue

by artist Antonio Pittaluga in a Private Collection
Bearing the bounty discovered on a morning lark in the Italian countryside, this beautiful maiden walks into our imaginations as a classic Art Nouveau sculptural figurine. Artistically sculpted from her stylish headdress to the soft drape of gown across her slender body, this timelessly romantic sculpture is cast exclusively for Design Toscano in bonded marble resin to capture each detail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Can be displayed anywhere. The Nymph of Morning Woods along with Nymph of Morning Glories can be displayed for anyone to enjoy. I have, and enjoy the display of nude/partial nude statues in a private garden, not the entrance walk where some may find that questionable taste. January 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Nymph of the Woods A wonderfully detailed reproduction of Pittaluga's woodland nymph. For years she and her sister statue have remained my favorites at the National Gallery of Art.. how delightful to now own such a beautiful reproduction ! January 12, 2014
