Legend of the Cambridge Hopping Gargoyle Sculpture
By artist Richard Warsin
Even Scotland Yard couldn't unravel the tales told of a mysterious "hopping creature" who repeatedly left gargoyle-like tracks outside Cambridge, England as recently as 1992. Artist Richard Warsin's mischievous gargoyle—with fiery eyes, bony spine, and devilish tongue—crouches ready to pounce on any unsuspecting passersby. This quality designer resin creature is so elusive that he's exclusive to Toscano!

7½"Wx12½"Dx10"H. 3 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by This is the second gargoyle I have purchased for outside use. I am pleased most by the characteristic of this and the earlier one to withstand all sorts of weather without showing damage. Just a good product at a reasonable price. The only criticism I might have...very that I thought shipping from the source was a bit slow. January 17, 2017
Rated 4 out of 5 by The color was not at all what I expected (disappointed); otherwise, a Great Piece Expected more of a marble/granite look....similar to another gargoyle previously purchased. Don't much care for the yellow-ish thing I received, but I intend to attempt spray painting the magnificent creature in an effort to save the creature. November 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Eye catching I am so thrilled with this statue which i immediately placed in my front garden. It has already gotten many complements from neighbors and although the birds and chipmunks are comfortable being around it, the neighbors' dogs seem to be deterred (which is great). I've named him Chester. April 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This item looks great in our sun room window. I have many gargoyles but this one has the best facial expression of them all. We recently had a new garage built and the workers kept looking at it and all the other gargoyles in our window. I'm going to keep collecting them for the house and yard. Even my 6 year old grandson loves them! January 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for Halloween I plan to use this as part of my Halloween decor this year. It should work perfectly with my theme. Resin construction means it will be durable for years to come. September 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Only one negative My statue came in a light sand color. More realistic would have been a gray color such as you would see on Notre Dame in Paris. Other than that it's fine. June 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by So cute! I ordered my Hoppy and he arrived in a timely manner and in perfect condition. I did have a hard time getting my sister to give him back to me! I suggested she get her own! :) Only drawback is I wish he was a little bigger. June 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cambridge Hopping Gargoyle-sweet My garden this past season was missing something but I wasn't sure what exactly. I had all my favorite flowers, climbing vines with all their flowers, my plants with intricate foliage and pretty stakes and hanging chimes. It wasn't until I reviewed your catalog and saw the cute crouching whimsical face of the Cambridge Hopping Gargoyle, that I knew that is what my garden needed. Then I thought, what a great gift this would make for my brothers garden who lives in Cambridge. So two Cambridge Hopping Gargoyles are on the loose in our gardens! January 1, 2015
