The British Reading Fairy Garden Statue
In a secret garden, even the fairies find a quiet niche! No proper British garden is complete without this icon garden fairy. Our Design Toscano-exclusive is perched daintily atop a leafy pedestal, displaying beautifully arched butterfly wings and a dreamy expression. This charming fairy sculpture is based on Genie des Sciences, sculpted by the French artist Amedee Charron in 1885. Our fairy sculpture is cast in quality designer resin and hand-painted one piece at a time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the detail of my reading fairy! I was thrilled to get my British reading first fairy. It has lots of detail and is a perfect size to sit among my potted plants on my deck. Highly recommend! July 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very attractive Bought this to go with another book reading fairy. Both are darling. Have had the first fairy around 5 years and she looks as good as the day I got her. Expect this one to hold up as well. They are outside on a deck where there is very hot sun, heavy rain, and occasional hail. July 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Adorable I put this little reader beside a sitteing grotesque & it looks as if he is reading to the monster. They look wonderful in my herb garden beside the monarda. It is well-made & I expect to have him for several years. July 11, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by A nice addition to my garden I received the statue a few weeks ago and placed in a garden I had just finished. It now sits proudly between my yellow ligularia and pink hydrangea. It provides a lovely focal point for the small space and lends a charming air of fantasy. It's heavy enough to withstand wind, but not so heavy that it can't be moved. It seems well made and durable, but I haven't had it long enough to know for certain. August 17, 2014
