The Gladiator Sculpture
Inspired by a late 19th-century painting by Jean-Leon Gerome

Looking up to Caesar for approval after victory, our incredibly detailed gladiator is truly authentic, from laced sandals to acanthus leaf shield and Greenman shin guards. Crafted from more than a foot-and-a-half of cold-cast resin, he boasts a copper-plated finish, hand-buffed to a bright sheen to capture each intricate nuance. Our exclusive museum replica is set atop a wood museum base for display in home or gallery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very, very nicely done!! This statue is beautiful with a gorgeous finish and stunning detail. The only "drawback" is that the sword is delicate and requires very careful insertion into the Gladiator's grip. All-in-all, a beautiful work that is well worth the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sword separate The only thing I didn't like was the sword sent as a separate part. It was mentioned in the catalog summary but I don't understand why they couldn't attach it.
