Thought to be the work of Alexandros of Antioch, this ideal of feminine beauty dates from the Hellenistic Age. Also known as Aphrodite of Milos, it was discovered in 1820 within the ancient city of Milos. Our version is cast in designer resin to capture the statue s stunning beauty and is set atop a faux ebony museum mount for display.

Rated 5 out of 5 by A Perfect Gift for any Woman This item is a perfect gift for any woman. Venus' face has been reproduced very accurately. It is small and light enough to place almost anywhere - fireplace mantel, bathroom countertop, nightstand and so on. It is also functional because one can place necklace, chain etc. on Venus' neck. Best of all, the price is fantastic. In fact, I have bought two - one for my daughter and one for my girl-friend. September 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 ADORE THIS! Your Venus has the Perfect Proportions for a jewelry model! She sits on my dresser wearing all the long necklaces that are so popular now. She would be Beautiful anyway of course, but her functionality in this role is delightful :) The fact that you've made her light-weight and affordable makes it even better! GREAT JOB!
