Mischievous Cupid Statue
by Etienne-Maurice Falconet (1716-1791), in the Louvre, Paris

With a tiny angelic finger, cupid demands the silent complicity of a heavenly angel as the cherub reaches for love's arrow, the putti's fatal tool! Though originally commissioned for the house of Madame de Pompadour, mistress of King Louis XV, our Basil Street Gallery scaled seraphim is cast in quality designer resin with a matte white finish. A classic for any angel statue collector!

A Grand Dose of Naughtiness This Cupid statue instantly reminded me of the wicked version shown at the beginning of each episode of 'Friday the 13th: The Series', part of the reason why I like the product so much. The picture shows its true appearance, despite what a previous reviewer claims, and the quality is excellent. If looking for a cherub statue that stands out, this would be my recommendation.
