Rated 5 out of 5 by Cranky Nipper - The Victor Talking Machine Mascot
I collect Nippers of all sizes and age. Nipper has been around for about 115 years. Many Nippers were give-a-ways when purchasing a Victor Talking Machine and the later Victor Victrolas. Chalkware of all sizes and on display in the stores papier-mache of 3' or more. I like the detail of this Nipper, the almost lifelike look except for the black eyes which are a little bit spooky. Other than the eyes, I'm pleased to have this one on display outdoors. Thank you Toscano.

I loved this model of the RCA dog. It arrived on time, but some of the black paint at the bottom/base was already flaking off, even before it got out of the box. Well, I thought it would unseen by the wood mulch at the base, and this was true, until the flaking kept happening and now a lot of the black paint on the base is gone. the rest is in good condition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JayRay This Nipper statue photo appears lifelike!
I just acquired an actual Berliner Gramophone Phonograph - exactly like the one Barraud painted in that famous logo - and now I'm waiting for Nipper to arrive from Design Toscano to complete my life-size replication of that famous logo.
This Nipper statue, as pictured, is awesome! I can't wait for it (him) to arrive!

Rated 5 out of 5 by cjw47 This dog statue looks real
This is an excellent reproduction. It was a boon to my radio and broadcast memorabilia collection. The only regret I had was that it was not a smooth china like finish as the originals were. But the price was good. I had the statue in my parlor picture window a neighbor of mind asked me when I had gotten a dog.It is that realistic. thanks caesar j. warrick. P.S. Now all you need to do is make a replica of the phonograph that dog in the picture sits in front of and you will sell more dogs. I will be the first to buy.
