Emmett the Gargoyle Sculpture
Traditional With a Twist
Emmett is quite unique, despite being modeled after gargoyles of old, with the little cowlick atop his head. He is very sizable and sturdy. Mine has never seen daylight, so I cannot comment on how well he stands up to weather, a complaint that others have mentioned. Personally, I would not take the chance and would opt for a concrete model if looking for one intended for outdoors, but I would certainly recommend his presence if searching for a new indoor pet of the macabre sort.

Great Garden Gargoyle!
I got Emmett as a Christmas present for my wife. It is sturdy but light weight and she really thinks he is cute! It came on time and is a great deal - very affordable for the quality.

Captures the morning light
Emmett is a solid ten pounds and can withstand a good deal of wind. I have him out on the balcony surveying the Atlantic Ocean. I particularly like his surface texture which captures the morning light brilliantly.

Not weathering outside well
This statue is advertised as a garden statue. I discovered after less than a year on my porch the paint is peeling on the statue. I moved him inside immediately and moved my other gargoyle under the porch in hopes that the same thing will not happen to him. I am heart broken because I love my gargoyles. It should be advertised as an indoor statuary because it will not hold up to the weather.

Emmett The Perched Protector High Above My Garden
When Emmett arrived, I opened the box and almost was frightened to pull him out because he was so real-to-life I thought he was alive! I mustered the courage, though, and I'm so glad I did. He looks even more impressive on a ten-foot perch high above my backyard English garden guarding the premises. Even though gargoyles are traditionally supposed to be scarey, Emmett has an appealing and somewhat friendly look on his face. He is a wonderful addition to my garden!!
