Rated 1 out of 5 by from WAY TOO GENERIC ! A cute little display for your mantle, BUT IT IS IN NO WAY EVEN CLOSE TO LOOKING AS AUTHENTIC AS THE ACTUAL SHIP !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A fair price for a fair piece. The ship is a good buy at this price but if you are expecting an exact replica than move on. I have been a Titanic fan for most of my life and have many Titanic collectables so I can't help my attention to detail. The bow is to stubby on this model compared to other replicas of the ship. The Titanic is famous for it's long sharp bow designed to cut through the oceans. Also the smoke stacks are not to scale - the seemingly oversized stacks are one of the things that the eye first perceives on the Titanic. When I received the replica the life boats needed some attention as they were almost all hanging at different angles and this can be seen in the photo of this model. Also one of the propellers was bent at an odd angle. These took no time to correct and were easy fixes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Came damaged Despite being packed very well, I was so disappointed to see when I opened the excellent packaging, there were two dents along the bottom of the ship, good ones, wood and paint chipped. Also, the ship does not fit into the base properly (one end sticks up higher.) It looks like the ship is sinking already? That is due to a crack in the handle that the ship rests in. I was on back order, I already waited a while to receive it. The box and packaging was done very well, I would have to guess it was shipped in that condition. I should of packaged it back up and returned it for another, but was busy and did not feel like the hassle and cost of shipping it back. If not for that, I would have been very pleased with the model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A GOOD & WELL MADE PRODUCT I was reluctant to order this item, at first, because of a review written by "jolocorn" who said "The ship is not well made". I can assure you the "TitanticReplica" is, as is ALL the "Design Toscano" products I've ordered, VERY WELL MADE.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so great. The ship is not so well made. I have decided to keep the ship because it will be placed on a shelf that does not lend itself to a close up inspection. From a distance it looks ok.
