Whether for a Gothic-themed collection or just for the beautiful design, this statue is a fine buy. The amount of detail is amazing and I am eager to purchase the sister 'Kiss of Death Winged Skeleton Statue' to go on the other side of my books.

this statue is beautiful, it has very clear and precise carvings, the eyes, nose etc are clearly made, the surface is smooth and it looks as if the wings could open any minute to enfold the girl. my husband died, and when I saw this statue I knew I had to have it, it made me feel. not many pieces of art can make one feel things like this one does. I can feel his presence with me, I can feel his wings around me, just as the girl in the statue must feel him behind her. this is a wonderful piece for thinking and daydreaming, I highly recommend it to those who like artwork to MOVE your mind to ponder the strangeness of this life.

I bought this for my husband as a Annivercery gift, we got married on Halloween. While I tend towards the "romanic" he's definitely more macabre, so it's hard to find a great gift. HE loved it! Unfortunately it was broken durning a renovation so I will be replacing it shortly!

As a fan of the macabre. I have this on my desk. Reminds me that we all have this at the bottom of our cup of life.

If you are a lover of romantic death, this statue is a must have! Beautifully detailed, Death wraps his wings around this truest of loves. The maiden is desperately lovely, and she has no fear of her suitor. She is exquisitly defined, her hair and body exposed except where her lover carresses her with his wings.
This product is of the highest quality, with virtually no maintenance. I bought the first statue for myself, but after my sister caught a glimpse of it, she had to have one also. Exceptional value, and a truely astonishing piece of art.
