Drekar, the Viking Longship Collectible Museum Replica
Great display piece
Took a while for them to get it in stock but once it was it got here fast. Looks great on my office shelf and goes along wonderfully with my other Viking pieces.

vikings are coming
Yes the quality is good and it does float but I do not recommend that. Get a can of compressed air and you can blow wind into the sail. We sailed it for 3 hours before the recharge was needed.

This product was made well.
The Viking ship was well made and durable. The design and materials used showed great craftsmanship. This product was beautifully done and the details were impressive. The packaging of this product was carefully thought out to provide safe transportation. The overall experience was excellent and exceeded my expectations.I look forward to future purchases with Design Toscano .

This model has amazing detail that is historically accurate as well as beautifully crafted. My husband is of viking heritage and was overwhelmed with the time and attention that went into creating this item!

Toscano's usual high quality resin piece; overall a beautiful model.
This is the best example I've seen of what I like to think of as the classic Viking longship in a scale model. Very well-detailed and finished resin; the delicate-looking oars are actually somewhat flexible which is a good thing to prevent breakage. I particularly like the nice weathered finish; looks like it's been at sea many years.
The only thing I was at all disappointed in is the sail; it looks great from a distance but is in fact thick, rigid resin; I think they could have used real linen (starched or lacquered to achieve the wind-infllated appearance). Also the "rope" used for rigging is much too thick, but this will be easy to change as it is pretty basic.
