German Santa Antique Replica Die Cast Iron Still Action Coin Bank
Quality foundry cast iron collectible
Since the 19th century German St. Nicholas was a legendary kindly bishop who threw gold coins down the chimneys of the poor, it's quite fitting that the original mold for this 1890 classic should also be a bank! Offer a donation by dropping a coin into the bright red cloak of our Design Toscano classic still action bank. Our heavyweight antique replica in authentic foundry iron is a fully hand-painted novelty coveted as a vintage toy collectors' classic replica. With die cast metal construction, this Father Christmas bank is popular with antique bank collectors and those who want a unique gift or a great desktop collectible.

Rated 3 out of 5 by The bank has not opening for getting money out This is a nice vintage looking Santa and it is well made and heavy. He has a coin slot in his back but there is no opening on the bottom to get the money out. Unlike old fashioned glass/ceramic piggy banks, this Santa would be very difficult to break open.
