The Kanaloa (Teeth) Grand Tiki Sculptural Table
Add a playfully primitive attitude to even the most "civilized" decor
For more than a decade, artist Trent Smith has been using his creative talents to hand-carve tikis from trees. Echoing his original carvings, this exotic sculpture serves guests with Polynesian style as warm as its South Seas home. Our island survivor is cast exclusively for Toscano in faux wood-grained designer resin.

Overpriced junk. Like many others, mine began chipping a few months after I bought them. Don't waste your money. A real shame. November 9, 2014
Big Teeth Smile Love it. Perfect size. Perfect Color. Looks awesome. Durable. July 14, 2014
Paint flaking off everywhere Have two tables that have spent last year indoors. with very limited use, yet paint is flaking off everywhere exposing the bare resin underneath. Will be impossible to repaint without totally stripping the table of original layer of paint, which something went wrong with. Not worth the trouble, nor the price paid for such poor quality. Had to take a chance Had read negative reviews before purchase. Therefore I immediately sealed it with an out door Minwax semi-gloss poly sealer. Hopefully, that will do the trick. Only time will tell. I am a Polynesian nut and could not resist this. September 13, 2013
Fathers Day gift. Adds a touch of tiki to our yard. I love it!! Very sturdy. Flat surface- drinks don't spill. Can be filled with water to add more stability. Works great as mini table. July 11, 2013
Like others, paint peels after a few months We bought this in 2012 for a sitting area near our pool similar to what is shown in the advertised picture. We stored it in the pool house in the winter, which is what the care instructions recommend. When we placed it back outside this spring it still looked fine. However, on the first hot day in 2013 the paint peeled off all around the top edge and it looks like it was beat up (which it most definitely was not). The paint chips were laying next to the table. The paint obviously can't handle normal expansion and contraction. Unless you plan to use the table exclusivity indoors don't waste your money. June 29, 2013
Not worth the frustrations! I agree with most other reviews. I had mine on a covered patio but will not stand up to any outdoor elements. The finish peels off immediantly, then Tiki table loses all the charm you bought it for! Not even sure if a sealant would help. It is OVERPRICED and I think it would be EVEN if they solve the peeling paint problem. I tried to upload photos but it says they are too large and would not load. April 22, 2013
FOR INDOOR USE ONLY!!!!!!! I thought that these Tiki Heads were a bit pricey considering that they were mono colored and a bit bland, but I looked at them as being a fun project to add some color to liven them up. Because they were going to sit out in the sun all day, I spent a lot of money on a good quality automotive paint and hours of my time hand painted the eyes green and white, the teeth white and the lips red. Now the original finish is peeling off on not only the top, but on the sides as well. I tried refinishing the areas that peeled and sealing it with automotive clear paint (not cheap by any means), but the original coating just kept peeing off under the clear overcoat. Now I'm going to have to strip off all the finish and repaint everything over again. So in conclusion, not only are these things over priced, but they are JUNK as well. They CAN NOT be expose to direct sun light or weather of any kind. They are for INDOOR use ONLY!!! March 5, 2013
