Basho the Sumo Wrestler Sculpture
Sure to be the heavyweight champion of your home or garden!
Add a touch of the Far East with "Basho" (Japanese for "tournament") a traditional Sumo practitioner of one of the world's oldest martial arts. In a ritual from the Land of the Rising Sun, Basho crouches in his mawashi (Sumo belt) in an intricate sculpt with a wide stance. This quality designer resin heavyweight is cast exclusively for Toscano for display in home or garden.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The sumo wrestler statues are so fun and are great conversation pieces I now have three of these in my garden and one in my living room (the one that is bending over with a glass top). I love them and so does everybody else. They are so darling and they make people smile. One thing: sumos never have brown hair and they come with brown hair so I have to paint their hairs black when I get them in order for them to be accurate. No problem! It's worth it. I love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brighten up your life with Basho! Each year , on April First, I surprise my family with a fun item. I left Basho on the hood of my granddaughters car. When she left for school there he was waiting for her. She took him to school and was excited to show him off. He was a big hit with her friends. Eventually he went to college with her. In my sons house Basho sits on his dining room table. He has become part of our holiday celebrations. If you enjoy having fun, he will brighten up your home and make your friends smile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our Family and Sumo Our family has purchased several statues from your company and each one was just wonderful, but this sumo fellow is the delight of our lives. He is the host to many a pig picking, birthday party, or anniversary celebration... We have many Japanese friends and they have dressed him and put signs on him. He is just perfect!!!! I refused to put him outdoors and so he sits in our Japanese tatami room to greet guests when they come to experience a night or two on the futons. Thank you for having such a fun company..... What fun!!!!!
