Windblown Sculpture

By Leon Pillet (1839-1916)
Classic art for your gallery or garden.
A bare shouldered maiden holds her gown against a gust of wind in this sculpture by Frenchman Pilet, winner of the prestigious Grand Prix de Rome and Medal of Honor. “Windblown” is exquisitely detailed from the drape of fabric to the arch of the woman’s delicate feet. Amidst a pond or in an entryway, our nearly three-foot-tall casting lends elegance in designer resin exclusively for Toscano.

The Resin Mold Material is Not What We Expected The statue is super nice looking but the material that it is made out of is not a value for the price we paid for it. Previous status we purchased were a cement/hard material. This last statue is "plastic" - A super nice plasic. jpo April 26, 2015
Just love this sculpture It turned out to be as nice as I hoped for. She's standing on a pedestal by the pool. By night she is spotlighted, looking awsome. Can highly recommend this product, January 13, 2015
Product is exquisite! So happy with my Windblown purchase. She is beautiful with graceful lines and intricate detail. She is a beautiful addition to my garden. I know I will enjoy looking at her for years to come. September 12, 2014
Too Plain If you like plain statues, you'll like this one. I should have looked at the detailing closer before I ordered it, because it looks just like the picture. I don't like the base, because it looks cheap. I only kept it because of the hassle factor of sending it back. July 27, 2014
great perfect for tree top display above flatstone patio for guest enjoyment at DaleWood Retreat, Trails & Slopes vacation rental June 15, 2014
Nice addition to my garden Nice status but it did have a sticky substance that was difficult to remove all over its head. April 27, 2014
Looks Great in my Garden! Although I believe the details could have been better with this sculpture, it still looks nice in my garden under my crepe myrtle! April 25, 2014
She is just beautiful This sculpture is even more stunning in person than the picture. I loved it so much when I received it that I ordered a second one for my sister in Texas. I live in OH and still have her in the house as I didn't not want it to get ugly over the harsh winter weather. Have not had this long enough to know about mainenance January 1, 2014
