Perfect addition to my backyard retreat. I had been wanting this statue for a long time and was afraid I'd have to pay $thousands to get it. Design Toscano made my dreams ome true when they offered this version for under $500. It was well packaged for delivery and looks perfect out in the lawn. I've never seen the original statue so I really don't know how the body proportions compare to a life size person, but this statue seems not to be exactly proportioned. For example the hands seem to be pretty close to life size but the torso and buttocks appear to be 1/3 life size. Still this lends character to the piece. He is handsome and I am filled to show it off. March 18, 2014

BEAUTIFUL! I bought "David" about 1-1/2 years ago. I'm so pleased with with it! It's even more beautiful than pictured. I decided to keep the statue indoors rather than outside, and what a great decision! While I draped ivy over David's "parts" due to my granddaughters' easy embarrassment, the statue is a lovely focal point for my larger indoor plants and serves as a conversation piece of great interest. I would recommend it for both indoor and outdoor use. December 11, 2012
