I love my tortoise! Simply put, he's just awesome. I love everything about this statue. I have been wanting one of their giant tortoises for a long time and finally got this beauty. He looks so real. I have people comment on how life-like he is. I can't wait to put him out near my grape arbor. In the picture he does seem to look a little smaller but I'm attaching a picture of him next to my dog to give you a bit of side by side comparison. He is a pretty substantial piece. An absolutely great addition to my yard (I now have 4 turtles) and by far the biggest and most realistic. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed by this statue. He makes me happy just looking at him! If you have the money splurge! He's worth it and I hope you love yours as much as I love mine. August 8, 2013

Compliments galore! I was given this tortoise as a birthday gift from my husband and I just LOVE it! He certainly gets noticed, and the compliments I've received on him are numerous. Visually, the quality is excellent, with the very nicely done detailed hand-painted finish. Very lifelike, even the eyes. This is a very attractive quality sculpture. He now resides on my deck between two large plants by the pool. July 6, 2012
