The Masked Fisherman Raccoon Statue
This furry fisherman caught the big one! With woven wicker creel basket at his feet, this animal statue uses adorable cunning coupled with a rod and reel with actual filament line to capture our hearts. At almost a foot-and-a-half tall, our Design Toscano exclusive raccoon is sculpted in amazing detail, then cast in quality designer resin and hand-painted from his shadowed eyes to bushy tail.
5"Wx5½"Dx12"H. 2 lbs.
The Masked Fisherman Raccoon Statue is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality The raccoon is very nicely done, however the hole for the fishing pole was not big enough to screw in the "pole". It did not come attached. When I tried to widen the hole so that I could attach the pole the resin crumbled. Now everything around there had to be super glued. Not the quality that I would expect from Toscano.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from product disappointment Apparently this purchase was back ordered so long ago that I couldn't even remember ordering it. My husband didn't like the fishing rod, and made one from bamboo instead. Looks much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Masked Fisherman You think it'd be hard to teach a raccoon to fish, not so with this little guy. He's smart as a whip and often catches little fishes from my pond. Thankfully he practices catch and release, otherwise I'd have no fish left, haha! In all seriousness, a great product, looks awesome down by the pond. I didn't have any trouble aligning the pole to the fish would balance well and he appears to be holding up well out in the weather. Love this little guy! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fishing raccoon Good statue quality. However, fish was a problem from the start. Connector ring in mouth easily came undone. Superglue didn't work. Even tried a real fishing leader, line broke. Raccoon is outside and looks great, but he is "fishless".
