Great product Item is as described. Very well made, no pre-frabricated wood, so good durability. Package was well packed and the product was easy to put together. Very pleased with my purchase. January 1, 2014
Looks magnificent in library with old family bible on it. Looks magnificent in library with old family bible on it. November 15, 2013
Attractive, convenient way to have a dictionary constantly available! I love having my American Heritage Dictionary open and ready to use at all times. The bookcase now houses all my various dictionaries in one place - foreign languages, medical, legal, etc. The shelves are deep enough to be able to display a few pieces of family memorabilia and collectibles from my travels as well. It is now the focal point of the hallway off my living room. August 20, 2013
This book shelf is an eye-catcher! We (several colleagues) bought this book shelf for a very dear co-worker who was leaving after several years with our company. We had a placard made and affixed it to the first shelf. He was taken aback. It was great to see how surprised he was to receive such a classy going-away gift. We had it in the office for a couple of weeks before we had his going-away dinner and several other employees liked it too and asked where it came from because they were interested in getting one for themselves. We were very happy with this purchase. August 18, 2013
The St Thomas Gothic Bookstand upholds the Scholastic Tradition The bookcase looks wonderful in my office and helps me to hold Sacred Scripture in high regard as I display my Book of the Gospels. The only two suggestions that I would have for the design engineer on this bookcase is to label the pieces better with stickers along with coinciding details on instruction sheet and to put levelers on the piece because floors are very rarely completely flat and level. This will help the assembly and enjoyment of owning this piece of furniture. July 29, 2013
Very nice piece We bought it to use in an Easter program that the children at church put on and now is in our living room with the family Bible. A very nice looking piece. June 20, 2013
Nice bookshelf, not that hard to put together! I was hesitant to get this because of the other reviewers who said it was hard to put together. But I'm pleased to say I didn't find that to be true at all! If you assemble one side, and then the other, it's no big deal. The only negative thing I'd say is that the color is much more cherry than the stated walnut. But the assembled piece looks great. I considered getting this piece on and off for a very long time, and I'm glad I finally did! June 18, 2013
handsome bookcase It is a handsome bookcase. The color is cherry red, which I love. It is sturdy, I have two rows of books on each shelve. The assembly is very difficult. I struggled to put it together by myself - but by the grace of God I was able to- phew! two people are require one to hold and another to screw. June 27, 2012
