stunning and unique This item is a very beautiful, easily assembled lovely piece! It was well packaged, and arrived quickly. December 7, 2014
Not great Aside from the "fancy" fretwork, this is a $79 piece of furniture. There might be some hardwood in it, but that's certainly not the main ingredient. The finish was sprayed on real thick, and not very evenly (there are lots of light colored "shadows" where the spray went on thinner near the edges). The fretwork is a very thin piece of plywood (less than 1/4"). Just does not look as good in person as it does in the pictures. November 10, 2014
Misaligned Holes The piece is meant to be kept together by a combination of screws and small wooden pegs. However, if you line up the screws with the screw holes, then you cannot insert the pegs and vice versa, meaning you have to choose between the screws and the pegs. I chose the screws but because the pegs could not be inserted in place, the case is not as sturdy as it should be. i decided to make do, as opposed to going through the hassle of returning it. Great product Item is as described. Very well made, no pre-frabricated wood, so good durability. Package was well packed and the product was easy to put together. Very pleased with my purchase. January 1, 2014

Attractive, convenient way to have a dictionary constantly available! I love having my American Heritage Dictionary open and ready to use at all times. The bookcase now houses all my various dictionaries in one place - foreign languages, medical, legal, etc. The shelves are deep enough to be able to display a few pieces of family memorabilia and collectibles from my travels as well. It is now the focal point of the hallway off my living room. August 20, 2013
This book shelf is an eye-catcher! We (several colleagues) bought this book shelf for a very dear co-worker who was leaving after several years with our company. We had a placard made and affixed it to the first shelf. He was taken aback. It was great to see how surprised he was to receive such a classy going-away gift. We had it in the office for a couple of weeks before we had his going-away dinner and several other employees liked it too and asked where it came from because they were interested in getting one for themselves. We were very happy with this purchase. August 18, 2013
The St Thomas Gothic Bookstand upholds the Scholastic Tradition The bookcase looks wonderful in my office and helps me to hold Sacred Scripture in high regard as I display my Book of the Gospels. The only two suggestions that I would have for the design engineer on this bookcase is to label the pieces better with stickers along with coinciding details on instruction sheet and to put levelers on the piece because floors are very rarely completely flat and level. This will help the assembly and enjoyment of owning this piece of furniture. July 29, 2013
